We are needing volunteers to lead short bird walks (15-30 minutes each) and to conduct outdoor workshops. If interested, please contact Robert.
We are hoping that the booths will be interactive with participants; not just a stack of brochures. Be it a game or an interactive display or presentation, we want people to engage. We're also looking at offering a prize to folks who visit all the booths, perhaps focused on the kids by using a bingo card or something along those lines.
The is no registration fee to have a booth.
Food vendors are welcome. All food vendors will be required to obtain their own permits and have proper licensing. We are limiting food vendors to avoid direct competition on a first come basis. Contact Robert for more information.
There may be some limited power supply if booths need it. Those with booths will need to provide their own tables and displays. Let me know if you need assistance in this regard.
I will be setting up a walk-through meeting at the site a couple weeks before the event to help everyone with logistics.
We are trying to carry out this event with minimal costs, with the greatest expense being the time of the volunteers. There are some things that we'd like to do that would cost money, including printing flyers about the event to be distributed in the schools and through the participating organizations. We'd also like to create some signs. If you are or know of company or individual that might be interested in donating to this cause, please contact Robert.
Sponsors logos and links will be added to this website and will be on print materials.
